Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Connect2Play. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Connect2Play. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. You must comply with all laws applicable to your use of the app.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, impersonated, or used to mislead other users.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Connect2Play to:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or impersonate another person.
• Publish illegal, deceptive, obscene, violent, hateful, or infringing content.
• Share another person's private information without permission.
• Send spam, scams, unsolicited promotions, or malicious links.
• Arrange unlawful activity or create unsafe situations.
• Interfere with the app, access it using automated methods, or bypass security.

4. User-generated content

You retain ownership of the posts, messages, profile details, and other content you submit. You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to share it.

You grant Connect2Play a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, reproduce, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is legally required or technically necessary for a limited backup period.

5. Real-world meetings and safety

Connect2Play helps users discover potential sports partners but does not verify every user's identity, skill, background, or intentions. Use judgment when communicating or meeting. Meet in appropriate public sports locations, tell someone your plans, and do not share sensitive personal or financial information.

You participate in sports and meet other users at your own risk. Connect2Play is not responsible for injuries, disputes, losses, or conduct occurring during user-arranged activities.

6. Reporting, moderation, and blocking

Users can report inappropriate behavior or content through the reporting tools in the app. We may review reports and remove content, restrict functionality, suspend accounts, or take other proportionate action. We are not required to pre-screen every post or message and cannot guarantee that all inappropriate content will be identified immediately.

7. Intellectual property

The Connect2Play name, visual design, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Connect2Play. Except for the limited right to use the service, these Terms do not transfer any intellectual-property rights to you.

8. Service availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of fitness, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connect2Play will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service or interactions between users. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

10. Account deletion and termination

You may request deletion of your account through the available in-app support options. We may restrict or terminate access when these Terms are violated, safety is threatened, or required by law. Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination will remain effective.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version with a new effective date. For questions, safety reports, or account requests, use the support and reporting tools inside Connect2Play or the Support URL listed on our App Store page.
